First Lady Dr. Renee H. Lacey

The First Lady of United Faith Christian Ministry, in Stafford, Virginia, is a powerful woman of God who serves alongside her husband, Pastor Leonard Lacey, as the Minister of Music. Dr. Lacey is a God fearing woman who possesses wisdom and good understanding concerning the scriptures and wisely teaches others. A native of Dallas, Texas, she began her service in the Kingdom of God through her gift in music which spans over forty years. In 1997, she felt a greater call upon her life to minister the word of God. Accepting this call in 2005 she preached her initial sermon. Dr. Lacey has an insatiable desire to impart the word of God to others that they might develop a closer and ever-growing relationship with Him. She established and oversees the “Titus Two Ministry”, a ministry designed to assist the younger women in benefiting from the teaching of the older God fearing women.

Dr. Lacey's life is fully dedicated to enhancing the lives of others in every venue. She is the Supervisor of Alternative and Summer Programs in Prince Williams County Virginia Schools, where she oversees programs for students considered at-risk of school failure. She has co-authored several publications, including a textbook chapter that focuses on quality programs and services for student with learning and behavior problems. Dr. Lacey holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master's degree in School Counseling from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas, and a Doctoral degree in Special Education Leadership from George Washington University, Washington, DC. She is a testament that God can do exceeding abundantly above anything we could ever ask or think.

Dr. Lacey is a busy woman in the things of God. Her light does not go out, that others may see her good work and come glorifying God. She is praised by her husband and children. She extends a helping hand to the poor and opens her arms to the needy. She goes beyond the ordinary to accomplish the extra ordinary for her family, friends and even her foes. Pastor Lacey describes his wife as “energetic, inspiring, innovative and altogether lovely.”

Dr. Lacey and Pastor Lacey have a son who pastors the Long Branch Baptist Church in Woodford, Virginia, two gifted daughters who respectfully render their gifts and talents in service to the kingdom of God. They have one of the best, if not the best son –in-law and daughter –in-law in the world. And their three grand boys bless them everyday.
